The case involved the division of matrimonial assets in a long-running and highly acrimonious divorce.
The firm successfully represented the Plaintiff Husband.
The Defendant Wife argued that she was entitled to a portion of all assets held in the Husband’s name.
The firm succeeded in proving that the assets held in the Husband’s name were not matrimonial assets and were therefore not capable of being divided. These assets included 7 private properties totalling $14million, 1 Ferrari valued at $1.3million and several bank accounts.
The Court held that the Defendant Wife was not entitled to these assets.
